Mining Transformation in Africa 2025: Driving Inclusive Growth, Sustainability and Innovation Across the Continent
Cape Town , South Africa –Industry leaders, policymakers, investors and development partners convened at the Mining Transformation in Africa 2025 event to explore practical strategies for transforming Africa’s mining sector into a catalyst for inclusive economic growth, sustainability, and long-term value creation.
Taking place on 03 February 2025, the event brought together key stakeholders from across the mining value chain to address critical issues shaping the future of mining on the continent. These include local beneficiation, regulatory reform, ESG integration, skills development, technological innovation, and community-led development.
As Africa remains central to the global supply of critical minerals required for the energy transition, Mining Transformation in Africa 2025 will provide a high-level platform to interrogate how the sector can balance global demand with local impact, ensuring that mining contributes meaningfully to industrialisation, job creation, and sustainable development.
